Visa Is Interested in Hiring College Students to Develop In-House Crypto Talent

According to the payment giant’s job post, program participants will gain knowledge in areas such as DeFi, NFTs, stablecoins, and CBDCs.

As the business continues to grow its internal crypto talent, Visa is asking undergraduate students to apply for its crypto development program.

According to a job posting, Visa’s Crypto Development Program is an 18-month rotational development experience “intended to establish a fully fluent cryptocurrency team now and in the future.” “The program contributes to Visa’s aim of developing a strong entry-level pipeline of talent with deep subject matter expertise in the crypto area.”

According to the post, those hired as part of the program will rotate on teams such as Crypto Product, Crypto Solutions, and Digital Partnerships, and will gain expertise in areas such as decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), stablecoins, and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).

Visa started a global crypto advising practice last year to assist financial institutions in developing their cryptocurrency operations as demand for crypto goods grows.

Visa CEO Al Kelly recently questioned the sector’s eventual utility at an investment conference, but stated that the business intended to continue expanding out its crypto platform.
