Lamborghini Reveals “Secret Artist” Behind Its First NFT Collection

Italian supercar producer Lamborghini has revealed that it has partnered with Swiss artist Fabian Oefner in order to create its drop of non-fungible tokens.

The NFT collection, which is called “Space Key,” used to be announced last week.

In 2019, Lamborghini sent a sample of carbon fiber substances to the International Space Station (ISS) in order to decide the effects of cosmic radiation.

Now that the luxurious carmaker has received the fabric back, the company determined to use it to create an artwork series that is comprised of 5 “space keys.” So far, there is no information involving when the drop will be handy for sale.

Each small piece of carbon fiber is accompanied by its very own NFT. Oefner engraved QR codes in the physical objects in order to hyperlink them to their digital components.

Lamborghini says that Oefner used to be “a best fit” for the project. The artist says that he was once involved by the combination of the digital and the physical worlds:

” The car and its components, something physical and real, gets transformed into something digital that in no way existed. And the carbon fiber piece, some thing bodily and tangible, serves as a key to get entry to the digital journey of the art piece.”

The Swiss artist, whose works focus on the beauty of the herbal sciences, has had famous in Paris, Copenhagen and different foremost European cities. His 2015 collection known as “Disintegrating” suggests steeply-priced classic cars exploding into hundreds of pieces.
