Acrew Capital and BNY Mellon led the investment round.
Coin Metrics, a crypto intelligence startup, secured $35 million on Wednesday to expand its product offerings and customer base.
Acrew Capital, a venture capital firm, and BNY Mellon spearheaded the company’s series C investment.
This funding will enable Coin Metrics, which provides financial institutions with network and market data, to expand internationally and develop new products, including metrics for decentralised finance and DeFi applications.
“This financing enables us to accelerate both our business and product roadmaps,” said co-founder and CEO Tim Rice in a statement.
The startup raised $15 million in a series B financing deal headed by Goldman Sachs in May 2021.
Cboe Global Markets and Brevan Howard Digital were among the new investors in the round. Among the other participants were Goldman Sachs and Fidelity Investments.
